Runic is a single plugin jar for Spigot and Paper servers on Minecraft 1.13 and newer. Installation covers putting it on your server and updating it.

RunicCUI Mod​

RunicCUI is an optional client mod for players. Players who install it see the shapes of the magic around them while they wear Aether Goggles, drawn as volumes in the world. See The RunicCUI Overlay for what it shows.

Runic Wiki App​

Add the wiki to your phone's home screen and it opens like an app, full screen with a Back arrow in the top bar. It loads the newest pages each time, so it stays up to date by itself.

Android​

  1. Open the wiki in Chrome.
  2. Tap Chrome's menu (⋮), then Add to home screen, then Install. Some versions of Chrome name it Install app.

Edge, Samsung Internet and Firefox have the same option in their menus.

iPhone and iPad​

  1. Open the wiki in Safari.
  2. Tap Share. On iOS 26, tap the ⋯ button first.
  3. Scroll down and tap Add to Home Screen.
  4. If you see Open as Web App, leave it on, then tap Add.

Chrome and Edge on iPhone keep Add to Home Screen under their Share button too. The app starts with Safari's sign-in and keeps its own from then on. Links in emails, such as password resets, open in Safari.

On a computer, Chrome and Edge install the wiki from the install icon at the end of the address bar.
