Welcome
Welcome to the Runic wiki. Runic is a Spigot and Paper plugin that turns ordinary blocks into magic. You lay blocks in a pattern, right-click the pattern's heart, and the rune wakes. Players never type a spell command; every spell is something you build in the world.
Runic has 247 runes across 11 schools, from travel networks and floating islands to enchanted tools, wards, curses, and redstone automation.

The short version
- Get permission. Rune permissions default to server operators. Ask your server staff, or see Installation if you run the server.
- Perform Initiation. Draw the Initiation sigil, light a fire at its heart, and right-click it. Runic now knows you, and you receive A Primer on the Runic Arts. See Initiation and the Primer.
- Build something. A Waypoint and a Teleporter make a good first project. Your first runes walks through both.
- Explore. Browse all runes, or search with the box at the top of every page.
A rune that almost works
When a pattern is nearly right, Runic whispers a hint and marks up to three wrong blocks with particles. Near-miss hints explains what each hint means.
