Heavy Core Anchor

A hopper cage seated with a Heavy Core: a gravity well that slows arrows and rockets in a column. A solid Tier seat starts it; click the hopper to pause or resume. Last fuel sets its reach.

How it works

The Heavy Core Anchor turns a copper cage into a gravity well. Arrows, tridents, fireballs, firework rockets, and every other projectile inside its column slow sharply and drop, losing most of their speed within a second. Archers and rocket fliers find it very hard to cross.

Raising it

  1. Build the cage with the hopper facing down into the iron block.
  2. Set a Tier block on one of the four seats around the iron.
  3. Hold a Heavy Core and right-click the hopper. The core and the Tier block are spent. Heavy Core Anchor raised — a gravity well of radius 16 (150s).

The core is spent only on this first attunement. After that, right-click the hopper to lower the Anchor and again to raise it, while fuel remains. Lowering pauses its time and fuel.

Fuel

Each fuel block buys 150 seconds per Tier, and the last fuel's Tier sets the column's radius, from 16 blocks at Tier 1 to 64 at Tier 7. When time runs low, the Anchor drinks a Qixsilver Reservoir in your Domain, then an Aether Chest on a seat, then the next Tier block clockwise from north. The first raise always needs a Tier block on a seat.

A hopper claimed by a Sieve cannot also hold an Anchor.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/heavycoreanchor.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
