Lock Block
Forges a designator that seals a set of Phase and Toggle blocks against meddling clicks — and drives the set itself, by click or redstone.
Pattern
Hover a tile to name it. Reading pattern diagrams explains the symbols.
- Tier block × 12Every T is the same block, and that block’s Tier sets the rune’s strength.
- Signature block × 4Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
- Air or a Tier 0 block × 4Leave these as air, or fill them with Tier 0 blocks such as dirt or stone.
- Activation blockThe glowing cell is the one to click.
- SpentCells with a corner mark are used up when the rune wakes.

How it works
This rune forges a Lock designator. A Lock is a seal: mark it into a set of toggle blocks, and the whole set moves when you right-click the Lock or power it with redstone. While a seal shares the set, clicks on the other blocks act as ordinary clicks.
Keys
The heart of the pattern is optional. Leave it empty for a Lock that answers every click and signal. Seat a Tier 1 or higher block there when you forge the designator, and the Lock gains a key: it answers only while a block of that kind touches one of its six faces. The lock does not answer — its key block is not set against it.
Redstone
Power has to reach the Lock's own block, through a lever or button on it, a repeater or comparator pointing in, or dust lying on it. Power turning off moves the set from its first shape to its second, and power turning on moves it back. A lever on the Lock works as a switch for the whole set.
