Tri-Lock Block
A Lock of three states: seals its set and steps it 1, 2, 3 and round again on rising redstone or clicks.
Pattern
Hover a tile to name it. Reading pattern diagrams explains the symbols.
- Tier block × 20Every T is the same block, and that block’s Tier sets the rune’s strength.
- Signature block × 4Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
- Air or a Tier 0 block × 12Leave these as air, or fill them with Tier 0 blocks such as dirt or stone.
- Activation blockThe glowing cell is the one to click.
- SpentCells with a corner mark are used up when the rune wakes.

How it works
A Tri-Lock is the Lock for three-shape sets, such as Tri-Phoggle and Tri-Sploggle blocks. Each right-click, and each time redstone power turns on, steps the set forward: first shape, second, third, and round again. The lock advances; the blocks may move.
Like a Lock, it can carry a key. Seat a Tier 1 or higher block in the heart when you forge the designator, and the Tri-Lock answers only while a block of that kind touches it.
Tips
- A button on a Tri-Lock steps the set once per press.
- To walk the shapes backwards on falling redstone, build the Tri-Lock Block (Inverted).
See Toggles, locks, and phases for sets, keys, and breaking a seal.

usage-messages | false | When true, chat reports each use of this toggle/lock family rune. |
max-set | 8192 | Max orthogonally connected cells sharing one signature that this rune may wave (hard-capped at 8192). |
