Redemption

Restores a stored Faith island from the archive matching its signature, raising it above the altar — Salvation's merciful counterpart.

Pattern​

  • Signature block × 4
    Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
  • Air or a Tier 0 block × 4
    Leave these as air, or fill them with Tier 0 blocks such as dirt or stone.
  • Activation block
    The glowing cell is the one to click.
  • Spent
    Cells with a corner mark are used up when the rune wakes.

How it works​

Redemption raises an island that Salvation stored. Set the four signature blocks to match the stored island's signature and right-click the diamond heart. The island unfolds just above the rune, with its creatures. Redeemed — 1342 blocks, 12 creatures. The gold and the diamond heart are spent, and the bedrock stays.

The archive keeps its copy, so the same island can be raised again elsewhere. You own the island you redeem.

Good to know​

  • The pattern is Salvation's ring with gold at its four inner corners. Check the corners before you click.
  • No Salvation island is sealed under this signature. means the signature matches nothing in the archive.
  • The space above the rune must be clear, and the island must fit below the top of the world.

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/redemption.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Redemption has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
