Seed Rune

Whispers the world's own seed to whoever wakes it.

Pattern​

Hover a tile to name it. Reading pattern diagrams explains the symbols.

  • Signature block × 4
    Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
  • Activation block
    The glowing cell is the one to click.

    stays after use

How it works​

The Seed Rune tells you the world's seed. Build the plus of redstone blocks and right-click its centre. The rune whispers the world's seed: -4172144997902289642 The rune stays.

The seed is the one for the world the rune stands in.

Good to know​

Like every staff rune, it comes with runic.admin, which operators hold by default.

Configuration​

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/seedrune.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Seed Rune has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
