True Name Altar

The harshest judgment: strips every Runic asset from the named head's owner and grants them to the one who asks.

How it works

The True Name Altar hands one player's Runic estate to another. Build the altar of bedrock, lava, and beacons, and crown it with the player head of the one whose estate passes on. Right-click the crowning head. The True Name of Alex passes to Sam — 14 bindings.

The estate goes to you. Hold another player's head while you click, and it goes to that player instead. The True Name Altar grants you Alex's Runic estate.

The crowning head is spent. The rest of the altar stays, ready for another head.

What passes on

Waypoints and travel signatures, Faith islands, Domains, Qixsilver Reservoirs and Wellsprings, Genesis pockets, wards, Reality Anchors and Masters, automation, turrets, Zeerix Chests, Ovicaptors, True Mobs, and the magic bound to the player. See True names.

Good to know

  • The head is spent even when there is nothing to give. The altar finds nothing of Alex to give Sam.
  • The altar refuses to give someone their own estate.
  • Like every staff rune, it comes with runic.admin, which operators hold by default.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/truenamealtar.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

True Name Altar has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
