How it works
The Dial Home Device dials a Stargate within 64 blocks of it. Its chevron seats take the address of the gate you want to reach.
- Set Chevrons 1 to 6, and 8 and 9 if the destination uses them, to the destination gate's address.
- Set Chevron 7 to your own gate's Chevron 7.
- Right-click the lamp. Chevron sequence engaged.
Each address seat needs a block of Tier 1 or higher. The chevrons lock one per second, and when the seventh locks the wormhole opens and holds for 38 seconds. Then the gate rests for ten.
The DHD stays, so you can reset its seats and dial again.
See Travel for more.
