Personal Teleport

A modest one-way passage. The whole drawing burns away, signature and all, carrying you once.

Pattern

Hover a tile to name it. Reading pattern diagrams explains the symbols.

3 × 3, one layer. Drawn flat on the ground, facing any compass direction.

A↑A←T→A↓A
  • Tier block × 1
Every T is the same block, and that block’s Tier sets the rune’s strength.
  • Signature block × 4
Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
  • Activation block
The glowing cell is the one to click.
  • Spent
Cells with a corner mark are used up when the rune wakes.

Keys

  • Redstone Torch × 4
must be lit · spent when the rune wakes

How it works

The Personal Teleport is a small one-way passage. Draw it with lit redstone torches at its corners and the signature of a Waypoint, then right-click it. It carries you once to that Waypoint, and the whole drawing burns away with you, signature and all.

If the trip fails, for example because the Waypoint lies broken or outclasses the drawing's Tier, the drawing is restored.

Tips

  • Carry the blocks for one to make an emergency trip home from anywhere.
  • For a return trip, build a Teleporter at the destination as well.

See Travel for the rules every trip follows.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/personalteleport.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Personal Teleport has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
