- Tier block × 5Every T is the same block, and that block’s Tier sets the rune’s strength.
- Signature block × 4Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.

How it works
The Block Sensor fires when a block is placed or broken in the column above it. The column is three blocks tall per Tier. It wakes every block marked under its signature by an Automation Designator, in the order they were marked.
Right-click its heart to attune it, and sneak and right-click to disarm it.
Good to know
- It reaches marked blocks within 32 blocks per Tier, measured as a flat square.
- It waits two seconds between fires.
- The runes it wakes act for the player who placed or broke the block.
- Only the player who attuned it can disarm or re-attune it. Others hear This sensor answers only to the one who attuned it. See Ownership.
See Automation for the whole system.
