How it works

Depth Note charges a sheet of paper to sound the ground. Right-click a block face with the bound paper, and it listens through the rock in that direction. It tells you how far it is to the first open pocket two blocks tall, and it warns you of any lava or water on the way. Each sounding spends one charge.

Tips

• Sound the floor before digging straight down to avoid falling into a cave or a lava lake.
• Sound a wall to find a hidden cave or a dungeon behind it.

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/depthnote.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
