How it works

The Engraver writes a magic item's secrets into its lore for anyone to read. Right-click the lapis block at its heart. The scaffold burns away and the lapis stays, bound. The Engraver awakens — bring a magic item to etch its signature.

Then right-click the lapis while holding a Runic item. The Engraver etches the item's signature and its lock key, if it has one, into the item's description. The Engraver etches the item's signature and key into its lore.

What it can engrave

• The signature of a designator from the toggle family or Automation, with its key.
• The channel of a Runic Radio pearl.

Hexed and cursed diamonds refuse the Engraver. Breaking the lapis ends the binding.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/engraver.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Engraver has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
