Redstone Sensor

Watches five redstone inputs and, at each rising pulse, fires its designations anywhere in the world.

    How it works

The Redstone Sensor fires when one of its five redstone inputs turns on. It wakes every block marked under its signature by an Automation Designator, anywhere in the world it stands in.

Four inputs sit around its core, one block above its iron heart, and a fifth comes through the piston on top. Redstone dust always counts as an input. Repeaters, comparators, and observers count when they point at the core.

Right-click its heart to attune it, and sneak and right-click to disarm it.

    Good to know

    • It fires with no player attached, so it suits runes that work on their own, such as toggles, locks, and Viatorem's Arch.
    • A Reality Master started once by hand can be restarted from a Redstone Sensor, untethered.
    • The Sticky Redstone Sensor reaches every world.
    • Only the player who attuned it can disarm or re-attune it. Others hear This sensor answers only to the one who attuned it. See Ownership.

See Automation for the whole system.

    Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/redstonesensor.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Redstone Sensor has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
