How it works
Sniff Trace blesses a sniffer egg or a torchflower with a sniffer's nose. Right-click with it, and it follows the scent to the nearest buried hoard still waiting in your chunk, telling you how far it lies and in which direction.
It finds buried treasure chests, suspicious sand and gravel from desert pyramids, desert wells, ocean ruins, and trail ruins, and the spots where sniffers dig. Each find spends one charge. A chunk with nothing left to find spends no charge. The scent finds nothing buried in this chunk.
The bound egg or torchflower is never placed.
