How it works

Inheritance writes a blessing onto a single sheet of paper. Hold one sheet and wake the rune. Your inheritance is sealed in the page. Death will not strip you bare.

Keep the paper in your inventory. When you die, it burns in your stead, and you keep your belongings and your experience. Inheritance claims its due — your belongings endure.

You can carry one Inheritance at a time. Write a new one after it burns.

Good to know

  • A Diviner tells you when an Inheritance clings to you.
  • Last Rites keeps your experience through several deaths.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/inheritance.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
