How it works

Initiation is the rite that opens the way to Runic magic. Draw the seven-by-seven sigil in Tier 1 blocks, such as cobblestone, set fire at its heart, and right-click the block under the fire. The fire consumes your doubt. You have been initiated into Runic! The sigil burns away, and the magic knows you from then on.

On servers that require it, most runes stay cold for anyone who has not been initiated. The rite also hands you A Primer on the Runic Arts, the book that teaches the basics.

Good to know

• Only Tier 1 blocks match the sigil. Blocks of a higher Tier will not do.
• Right-click a fresh sigil after your Initiation to receive another Primer.
• The Conclusion rune undoes the rite.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/initiation.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
