Runic Anvil
Wakes a true anvil into a runic forge: gear brought to it is forged into Runic items or mended. Hard use wears even magic.

How it works
The Runic Anvil wakes a real anvil into a forge for Runic gear. Right-click the anvil at its heart. The pattern burns away and the anvil alone remains. The rune drinks itself into the anvil — the forge stands ready.
From then on, right-click the anvil while holding gear:
- Forging turns an eligible tool, weapon, or piece of armor into Runic gear, ready to carry rune magic. The fires roar and the metal drinks the rune — your Iron Pickaxe is forged.
- Mending makes damaged Runic gear whole. The anvil rings and your Iron Pickaxe is made whole.
Hard use wears even magic: each successful use has a chance to chip the anvil, and an anvil that breaks ends the forge. The anvil stays bound if it falls.
See The Runic Anvil for which gear can be forged.
