Trim Oath
A smithing-template pad: wake the netherite and it slides between the pillars. An armor trim and trim material in a chest become a lasting skin on armor you wear onto the pad — the offering stays.

How it works
The Trim Oath is a smithing pad that stamps an armor trim onto the armor you wear. Right-click the netherite heart to wake it, and the netherite slides into the gap between the two pillars. The Trim Oath wakes — the netherite slides between the pillars.
Put an armor trim template and a trim material in the offering container. Then step onto the netherite while wearing armor. Each piece that can take a trim receives that trim in that material.
Good to know
- The offering stays in the container, so the pad can trim as much armor as you like.
- Swap the offering at any time to change the trim. The container may be a chest, trapped chest, shulker box, barrel, or shelf.
- Right-click the pad to still the oath, and the netherite returns to its heart.
- The stairs and walls must face as the pattern shows.
