Tetherhook
Blesses a forged fishing rod: the hook flies farther and catches a block's face — even a wall — then yanks you to it. It will not take a creature.

How it works
Tetherhook blesses a fishing rod forged on a Runic Anvil with a grappling line. Cast while looking at a block, a wall, or a ceiling within 40 blocks. The line catches that face and yanks you toward it. Each yank spends one charge.
Good to know
- The hook never takes a creature. The Tetherhook will not take a creature.
- A cast that catches nothing costs nothing. The Tetherhook finds no block to catch.
- Too far away: The line will not reach that far (52 / 40).

Configuration
These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/tetherhook.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
use-charges | true | true = finite tier charges, false = infinite charges |
range | 40 | How far the line may yank you, in blocks. |
pull-max-ticks | 80 | Unused — the yank is a single impulse, not a timed reel. |
throw-speed | 2.4 | Unused — casts attach by raycast. Kept so existing configs still load. |
pull-speed | 1 | How strongly the yank is scaled (1.0 = a full unit impulse). |
pull-speed-per-block | 0 | Unused — the yank is a single impulse, not a per-block reel. |
pull-speed-cap | 2 | Maximum speed added by one yank, in blocks per tick. |
pull-lift | 0.42 | Extra lift when yanking from the ground, so you leave the floor. |
pull-arrive | 2 | Unused — the yank is a single impulse, not a reel. |
