Faith Designator

Names the faith island it stands on, lectern and sign and all — only the gold is spent in the naming.

How it works

The Faith Designator names an island. Build it on the island, carve the name into its standing sign, and wake it. This faith island is now known as Skyhold. Only the gold corners are spent. The lecterns, the sign, and the rest stay.

The name must be 3 to 50 characters long. The name must be 3–50 characters (this one is 62). It shows in the messages of Pegasus, Gyre, and the Faith Transfer Portal.

Good to know

  • The pattern's Tier must match the island's. Stand inside a faith island whose Tier matches this pattern (Tier 3).
  • Where two islands of that Tier overlap, the Designator will not choose between them.
  • On Minecraft 1.13, bookshelves take the place of the lecterns.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/faithdesignator.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.

Faith Designator has no settings of its own beyond the shared ones.
