Pegasus
Flies its faith island across the sky — up to three fuels, never opposite; the stronger its Tier and fuel, the further the flight.

How it works
Pegasus flies its island across the sky. Build the cube wholly inside the island, around its gold heart, and give it fuel in one of two ways:
- Hand fuel. Hold a Tier block and right-click a face of the gold heart. The island flies away from the face you clicked.
- Slot fuel. Seat up to three Tier blocks in the six slots around the heart, and right-click it with an empty hand. Each fuel pushes the island toward its own side, and the pushes add up, so two fuels on neighbouring sides send it on a diagonal.
Skyhold answers the pegasus and begins to glide 18 blocks west… The fuel is spent, and the rune stays for the next flight.
Distance
Each fuel carries the island the rune's Tier squared, times the fuel block's Tier.
| Rune Tier | 1 | 2 | 3 | 4 | 5 | 6 | 7 |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| With Tier 1 fuel | 1 | 4 | 9 | 16 | 25 | 36 | 49 |
| With Tier 7 fuel | 7 | 28 | 63 | 112 | 175 | 252 | 343 |
Good to know
- Fuel in your hand and in the slots at once is refused, and so are fuels directly across from each other.
- The path must be clear the width of the island. Obstacles block the flight path — Pegasus will not pass through.
- A block of diamond on the island pins it in place.
- A Flight Ward keeps Pegasus cold inside its sphere.

Configuration
These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/pegasus.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
| Setting | Default | What it does |
|---|---|---|
animate | true | When true, the island moves over multiple ticks. When false, it relocates in one step. |
volumetric-transfer | true | When animate is on, scale duration and per-tick work to moved block volume. When false, the slice animation uses a fixed 4-second (80-tick) duration. |
check-path | true | When true, Pegasus requires a clear cylinder of the island's diameter along its path. |
glass-wave | true | When true, Pegasus shows a glass wave on air at the leaving and arriving faces. |
blocks-per-tick | 250 | Blocks moved per game tick while the transfer is animated. |
