How it works

The Dirge is a soul totem whose lament slows hostile creatures. Wake it with the soul campfire lit. The Tier blocks are spent, and the rest stands as a totem.

Hostile mobs within reach are slowed, and the nearer they press to the fire, the heavier they wade. Neutral and friendly creatures ignore it. The reach grows with Tier, from 8 blocks at Tier 1 to 32 at Tier 7.

Good to know

• Douse the campfire to pause the Dirge, and light it again to bring it back.
• Breaking any block of the totem stills it. The Dirge falls silent — its totem is broken.

Tips

Ring a base with Dirges so raiders wade through the last stretch.
