Piertotum Locomotor

Deepslate alcove. Spends Tier weave, skull, and bone to post a silent wither skeleton. It hunts strangers in sight, then returns to post. Mark friends on netherite with a head or egg. Higher Tier: tougher, faster return.

How it works

Piertotum Locomotor posts a silent wither skeleton sentry in a deepslate alcove. Right-click the wither skull. The Tier blocks, skull, and bone are spent, and a wither skeleton takes its post. The bone post wakes — a wither skeleton holds this line.

When a stranger comes within 12 blocks of the post, the sentry leaves it to hunt them, then returns once the danger passes. If it falls, a new sentry rises after a while.

Who it hunts

By default the sentry hunts every player except you, along with hostile mobs. Friendly and neutral creatures are left alone. Players in Creative or Spectator mode are always safe.

Change its orders by right-clicking the netherite block with a token. Only the keeper can do this.

TokenWhat it does
A player headThat player is ignored, or hunted again.
An Ovicaptor egg or a True Mob headThat kind of creature is ignored, or hunted again.

Good to know

Breaking the pattern dismisses the sentry. The sentry breaks — its wither skeleton is dismissed.

Configuration

These are the defaults in plugins/Runic/runes/piertotumlocomotor.yml. Every rune file also carries the shared settings described in Rune files.
