Runic Wire

Binds charged dust that lays signature-scoped wire — redstone that answers only its own kind.

Pattern

Hover a tile to name it. Reading pattern diagrams explains the symbols.

5 × 5, one layer. Drawn flat on the ground, facing any compass direction.

  • Tier block × 4
Every T is the same block, and that block’s Tier sets the rune’s strength.
  • Signature block × 4
Each arm holds a Tier 1+ block other than the Tier block, or stays empty (air or Tier 0). Read by compass direction, the arms spell the rune’s signature.
  • Activation block
The glowing cell is the one to click.
  • Spent
Cells with a corner mark are used up when the rune wakes.

How it works

Runic Wire binds charged redstone dust that answers only its own kind. Hold redstone dust and right-click the torch at the heart. The pattern burns away, and the dust takes the pattern's signature.

Lay the charged dust like ordinary redstone. Runic Wire connects to other Runic Wire of the same signature, and to blocks and devices such as lamps, pistons, and repeaters. It never joins ordinary redstone dust or wire of another signature, so two lines can run side by side without crossing their signals.

Each length of wire laid spends one charge, and one connected line can grow to 256 blocks.

Good to know

Everything else about redstone stays exactly vanilla: pistons, lamps, timing, and repeaters all behave as they always do.

Enchantment

The enchantment is called Runic Wire. Hold redstone dust while you wake the rune.
