How it works

The Lightning Trap answers its hex with a bolt from above. Wake it while holding a hexed diamond, then sink the diamond into a block. Any player or creature that springs the trap is struck by lightning and keeps burning afterwards.

Good to know

  • The pattern is the Mouse Trap's latch, with glowstone in place of the obsidian.
  • A Void Ward keeps traps inside it from springing.
